Zane Erickson
Manging Partner/President
Education: AAS degree in Diesel Mechanics, BAS in Business Management & graduate of TEPAP.
Started Farming: 2009
Experience: Started his career as a Seed Account Manager, then went on to found North Star Ag, which is one of the largest short-line machinery dealerships in the country and also came back to take over the family farm.
Duties: Overall direction of the business, relationship manager, purchasing, marketing grain, budgeting, and financials.
Family: Married to Cami since 2013 and has 3 boys (Brayden, Grayson, Miles).
Reed Erickson
Partner/Agronomy Lead
.Education: BAS in Crop and Weed Science and TEPAP graduate.
Started Farming: 2015
Experience: Started his career out of college as a Seed Account Manager for a regional seed company, and at about the same time he came back and farmed part time. In 2020, he transitioned to being the Sales Manager at North Star Ag, where he still works today.
Duties: Agronomic direction and decisions, runs one of the planters in the spring and the strip-tiller in fall.
Family: Married to Bekah since 2022 and has 2 young boys (Colson and Callan).
Eric Erickson
Operations
Education: AAS in Business Management.
Started Farming: 1982
Experience: Started his career being a partner in a large landscaping company in lakes country in Minnesota. He then started farming in 1982, taking the reins from grandpa in 1989 and started to transition out of the management role in 2014; finally retiring in 2020.
Duties: Sprayer operator, scraping, trucking and runs the dryer.
Trent Wagner
Operations Manager
Education: BAS in Engineering.
Started w/ BEF: 2017
Experience: Trent started out of college working with a neighboring farm, which then in 2017 that neighbor retired and rented the land to us and Trent started in Operations. As our business grew, Trent's role increased and is now running all day to day operations and is the key to all of our success. He's a huge part of our family.
Duties: Schedules and oversees all operations & employees on a daily basis. Runs the planter, side dresser, tile plow, and combine.
Family: Married Erin in 2018 and has 2 girls (Madison and McKenna).
Cami Erickson
Partner/Accounting Lead
Education: BAS in Business Management.
Started Farming: 2013
Experience: Cami managed a local assisted living out of college, then came back and became the Operations Manager at North Star Ag and heads up the Accounting, Parts, & Service departments. When her and Zane got married, she started doing all the bookkeeping for the farm.
Duties: Accounting, HR, Meals, and will occasionally drives tractor.
Family: Married to Zane since 2013 and has 3 boys (Brayden, Grayson, and Miles).

Colleen Buhr
Parts Runner/Grandma/Retired
Started Farming: 1959
Experience: Collen married Larry in 1959 and started farming then. She was farming full time for the entirety of her career until she finally quit running machinery in 2022 at the age of 82. Grandma (Colleen) is a wealth of knowledge and is a key reason why Buhr Erickson Farm Partnership is where we are today.
Duties: #1 parts runner, feeds the crew, picks up the grandkids, and keeps the yard mowed like a golf course 🙂
Tammy Erickson
Grandma/Truck Driver/Semi-Retired
Education: BAS in Business.
Started farming: 1982
Experience: Tammy has always had an off farm job, but has always played an active role in many of the farm operations.
Duties: Drives truck in the spring/fall, an tends to all of her typical "Grandma" duties.

Operations

Experience: Before joining Buhr Erickson Farms, Bennie was a parts manager at an auto parts store. He brings a wealth of energy and work ethic to the team and is a true team player.
Started at BEF: 2023
Duties: Combine, side dresser, seed treater and tender, and shop work.
Pierre
Operations
H2A worker from South Africa
Experience: Before joining Buhr Erickson Farms, Pierre was a general manager for a cash in transit business, managing up to 60 people. He brings a ton of leadership experience and perspective to the team.
Started at BEF: 2023
Duties: Grain cart, rock roller & picker, strip freshener, and shop work.
Gabe
Operations
H2A worker from South Africa
Experience: Before Buhr Erickson Farms, Gabe was Pierre’s right hand man at the cash in transit business, so they have first hand working experience with each other and is a great member of the team.
Started at BEF: 2024
Duties: Combine, seed treater and tender, and shop work.
During harvest we employ an additional 3-5 people. At Buhr Erickson Farm Partnership, we take a team approach to getting the job done, and could not do it without each and every team member.
